japarents (part 1)

here is part 1 of my parent's visit to japan last summer. i know, i know - it's long over due. better late then never right? and it's nice to see a bit of summer during this miserably cold winter.
in the video you'll see some delicious food, inuyama castle, and cormorant fishing; a traditional japanese fishing method where they train cormorants to catch fish and then choke the fish out of the cormorant before the cormorant has a chance to completely swallow the fish- pretty neat!

hip hop has never looked so awkward.

this is "dance unit," a hip hop dance event that spanned a couple of days and held at oasis 21 in sakae (downtown nagoya).
