this is one of the last days i'll be working at kuwana in mie prefecture. i'll miss the kids and the staff, but i wont miss this thursday commute. it takes about an hour one way door to door and takes four different train lines to complete the the journey. here are some pictures using the newly updated hipstamatic for iphone. these are views from the various train lines during my commute. enjoy.

These are really great, you should consider doing more and putting them into a small book. Have you ever seen Walker Evans "Many Are Called" ??
He shot a ton of portraits of people on the subway using a hidden camera right after he was let go by the WPA project in the 1930s. Google the images, you may see some similarities.
