himeji castle, mother of all japanese castles.

antonette and i skipped town and decided to spend a few days in the kansai region. it's pretty far away, but if you take the shinkansen (the bullet train) it's only a 50 min. train ride from nagoya. more footage of that later.

we spent our first day traveling to himeji, a city famous for it's castle. himeji castle is one of twelve japanese castles still standing in their original condition. it's also the largest. below is a 2 part video of the castle followed by a slideshow. take a look.

Once again, I am blow away by what you two are doing.

Also, since you have all the footage, you should consider professionally publishing your video documentary of Japan.

Hope you and Ant had a great Christmas and New Years and look forward to seeing more.
