this is a local chain, "yamachan." it has some pretty good food at reasonable prices. they're pretty popular for their chicken wings. the mascot (i dunno if it's a real person) looks like sylvester stallone dressed in a chicken costume.

nagoya new year's hustle

no grand plans, crazy light shows or drunken bar fights. antonette and i decided to spend our new year's at a traditional celebration at a local temple. we made it in the nick of time. even though this year has already started off crappy, happy new year everyone!

cigarette bin at tokyu hands.

antonette and i were shopping around the corner from our apartment at a popular department store, "tokyu hands" and came across this huge bin of used cigarette cases. i think they might be a collector's item... maybe... not sure, but i thought it was still bizarre.
